Introduced in 2010, the AAIS Homeowners By-Peril Rating Plan (HOBP) was the first advisory organization plan available to insurers in most states for rating homeowners policies on the basis of individual perils.
The Underwriting Platform (UP) was developed in 2013 to support AAIS inland marine and output programs, and is being extended over to support forms and manuals maintained by AAIS for more than 25 lines of personal, commercial, agricultural, and inland marine insurance.
