Werner Kruck is the President & CEO of AAIS. Having spent 45 years in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry developing products, systems, and distribution strategies in the U.S. and internationally, he has unique insight into the many aspects of insurance company planning and operations. Throughout his career, Werner has managed national residential personal lines programs for Foremost Insurance, Bankers & Shippers (Travelers), Markel, and American Modern Insurance. He also spent four years with AIG internationally in New York and Manila as Regional Manager for Personal Lines and Agency Distribution.

For the past 18 years, Werner has specialized in the Florida homeowners market, serving as both a consultant and Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, he led the growth of Security First from a startup in 2006 to a leading Florida homeowners insurer, highly regarded for its strategic innovation in technology, data, product development, and distribution. Among the many innovations implemented under Werner’s leadership, Security First became the first U.S. homeowners insurer to launch an iPhone app, utilize personalized video, and offer full flood coverage as a homeowner policy endorsement.

Werner has a BBA in Finance from Western Michigan University.
