Mark Fowler serves as Vice President of Product Management at Amerisure Insurance, a role he has held since August 2020. In this capacity, he is responsible for leading product management strategies and initiatives, ensuring the development and enhancement of insurance products that meet evolving market needs. He also played a key role in the Amerisure Advantage Project, a major digital transformation initiative that leverages Guidewire technology to streamline and enhance policy and billing processes for both internal and external users.
Prior to joining Amerisure, Mark served as AVP, Product Manager at Grange Insurance from January 2016 to August 2020. There, he made significant contributions to product innovation and competitive market positioning and helped develop new underwriting systems across multiple insurance lines.
Earlier in his career, Mark was Director of Commercial Lines and, before that, Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager at Integrity Insurance, where he led underwriting operations and strategic initiatives from October 2012 to December 2015. He began his insurance career at Hastings Mutual Insurance Company, holding various roles, including Commercial Large Account Specialist and Commercial Lines Underwriter, and gaining over seven years of foundational experience in commercial underwriting and account management.
Mark holds an MBA from Capital University and a BBA in Finance and Economics from Grand Valley State University. He has also earned several industry designations, including the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
